Day 1: pray

I often feel at a lose when dealing with children 3 and under. I'm left wondering how I can effectively entertain and communicate as we'll as I can with elementary kids.
Yesterday I met "K"
She new as of Monday night.
She came from an orphanage where there was ONE house mom for FIFTEEN infant and toddlers.
She obviously came with a lot of attachment issues and needs.
She was crying like crazy.
I picked her up and she immediately stopped crying but wouldn't let me put her down.
As I held her for 30 minutes I wanted to help her. I realized I could pray. How often we forget something so simple.
So I prayed...
For her health
For her safety
For her future
For her sleep (she was up til 1aa Monday night)
For her to feel the comforter from the ultimate father...JESUS!

At 7:30 pm last night.
K was asleep.

Thank you God for life lessons in unsure times.
Thank you
For the power of prayer.
